verry niiice. sound trite to say this is a meditation on mortality and grief but that seems to be very much the heart of this film. Furthermore, it is strangely fitting that what began with analog VHS in Videodrome should come full circle into ultra HD of post mortem decomposition. Furthermore, probably one of his more satisfying films on a pure visual level what with the gimp suit like shrouds, fluorescent lighting, ultra hd, and rotting corpses

I can likely understand why this is considered a landmark paper, as though its argument is simple, is likely dense with implications

A bit leaning toward speculation, but I think it could be a good entry point to the current accelerationism/posthumanism research directions whose inception if my understand is accurate is deleuze transcendental materialism. Hypothesis: global capitalism is more like an organ of ‘moloch’ than an alien intelligence. Furthermore, moloch requires vast amounts of sacrifice, because each sacrifice itself amounts to very little(“The system’s value function is astonishingly simple”)

An immediately relevant assertion:
